What is Somatic Healing?
Somatic healing is a body-centred therapy that dives into the unconscious roots of emotional wounds, trauma, and limiting beliefs stored in your tissues. Unlike talk therapy, it works with subconscious mind through the body—where memories and emotions are held—to release unprocessed experiences like stress, grief, and trauma. This deep healing helps you break free from anxiety, tension, and disconnection, allowing for lasting transformation, emotional freedom, and inner peace.

Each session is trauma-informed, intuitively guided by Renata, and thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs. You'll be gently supported to reconnect with your body and its sensations through breath, somatic awareness, visualisation, and, when appropriate, therapeutic touch.
Sessions include an opening conversation, followed by coaching, the somatic healing process, and a closing integration phase—so you feel safe, grounded, and fully supported throughout.
During the release process, Renata may invite you to explore various breathing techniques, mindful movement, and other somatic tools to deepen the healing.
By engaging the subconscious mind, this work allows you to access and release stored emotions, patterns, and tension—creating space for lasting transformation and inner freedom.

Over the past ten years, Renata has immersed herself in the world of healing—training in psychology, somatic therapy, life coaching, yoga, and meditation—to create a safe and supportive space for deep transformation.
Her approach draws on a wide range of somatic tools and techniques, including body scanning, somatic awareness and experiencing (inspired by Peter Levine’s trauma healing work), and practices from Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered Somatic Psychotherapy. She also incorporates inner child healing, yoga-inspired movement, breathwork, and intuitive bodywork.
Each session is rooted in somatic experiencing, body-oriented coaching, and trauma-informed care—blending nervous system regulation techniques, guided visualisation, and embodied mindfulness to support holistic, lasting healing.

Yes. Renata’s work is firmly grounded in trauma-informed principles. This means sessions move at the client’s own pace, with a strong emphasis on safety, consent, and deep respect for the body’s boundaries and readiness at every step.

While traditional talk therapy focuses primarily on thoughts, emotions, and verbal processing, somatic healing works directly with the body—where unresolved experiences, emotions, and trauma are often stored. Renata’s somatic approach goes beyond the cognitive mind to access deeper layers of healing through breath, body awareness, movement, and other somatic tools. This body-centred process allows clients to release what words alone often can’t reach, creating space for lasting emotional and nervous system regulation.

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move and breathe freely—think yoga or lounge wear. This helps your body stay relaxed and open throughout the process. You may also wish to bring a journal for reflection and a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Touch may be used gently and only with your full consent, as part of reconnecting with areas of the body where emotions or tension may be stored. All touch is trauma-informed and guided by your comfort and boundaries.
